Cambridge Hebrew School, 1937-1939
Scope and Contents
The series contains the correspondence between the Association and other educational organizations, mostly Hebrew schools and synagogues. Of particular interest is the correspondence between then-Association President Joseph Diamond and Rabbi Joseph Shubow in 1937, detailing a dispute about Temple B'nai Moshe's hiring policies, and in 1938, regarding an unnamed former Association member. The correspondence with the Bureau of Jewish Education regarding hiring policies is also of interest.
