Scope and Contents
This subseries documents various parts of Spiro’s personal life. Included are résumés and biographies of Spiro, photographs and news clippings of his time as a Boy Scout, miscellaneous news clippings and photographs, materials related to his wedding to Vivian Kemp, drawings made out to Spiro by Batman artist Bob Kane, and correspondence, photographs, and union membership information documenting Spiro’s summer employment at the Weyerhaeuser Timber Company and the Diesel Construction Company in 1958 and 1959, respectively. Some folders are restricted.
