Scope and Contents
This subseries contains correspondence, family trees, and photographs of various members of the Obermayer family, including BNO’s father Captain Neville Levy, LJO’s brother Henry Max Obermayer, LJO’s mother Veronika Lehman Obermayer, ASO’s sister Helen Sellers, and JSO’s father Joseph Sinsheimer. Correspondence to Veronika Obermayer from her family in Germany are in German, but have translations attached. Also included is a journal written by LJO, JSO and their children documenting their 1941 road trip around the country.
