This subseries contains correspondence, notes, and newsletters related to ASO’s activities in the FAS. Also included are the plans and publications for the group’s Congressional Exchange Project, which encouraged members of Congress to visit the Soviet Union in order to gain a first-hand understanding of the country and its relationship with the United States.
