This subseries contains numerous manuscripts and writings Jacob Freedman published throughout his life. Included are the translations of Eve, The Great Madness, and Pinocchio in Israel from Hebrew to English, as well as miscellaneous articles he wrote on a variety of topics such as freelance rabbis and the writings of Pierre van Passen. Also included are research, notes, correspondence, manuscripts, and news clippings related to the writing and publication of the Polychrome Historical Haggadah and the partial work on the Polychrome Historical Siddur, both of which were funded through Freedman's foundation, the Jacob Freedman Liturgy Research Foundation.
