Bom–Chy
Scope and Contents
This series contains arrival cards of individuals that passed through the Port of Boston as well as some who passed through the Port of New York. They are in alphabetical order by last name and contain general biographical information for each person in the arrival party (although for most of the child passengers, this information is scant, at best), where the person was expected to live in the United States, and what ship they arrived on. These cards do not necessarily match one to one with the individual case files. Please note that the date range is an estimate; given the nature of the arrival cards, it is difficult to assess the exact dates.
