Scope and Contents
This sub-series contains materials relating to the lives and careers of Avram J. Goldberg and Carol R. Goldberg, including general biographical information, correspondence, newspaper clippings, press releases about awards or promotions, and speeches given at special events or to Stop & Shop employees. Also included is a certificate given to Avram Goldberg for being named as one of Business Week’s Corporate Elite. Of note is a memo from Avram Goldberg (located in Correspondence) in which he attempts to give extra information about several historic Stop & Shop photographs, many of which can be located in the Photographs series of this collection.
