Beatrice Stone—General, 1930-1931, 1949-1954
Scope and Contents
This series contains Stone family photographs, including those of Channa Libe, her eight children and their families, extended family, and friends. The bulk of the photographs are of Julius and Mamie Stone and their children. Also included is a descendent chart, news articles, membership information, certificates, correspondence, religious objects, financial documents, and passports. Of note is correspondence written by Elihu Stone while he was attending the 17th Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland and the 1881 Russian military draft of Reuven Tzerelstein. Some material is in Hebrew, Yiddish, and Russian.
