Series IX: Large City Budgeting Conference, 1964-1967
Scope and Contents
The Large City Budgeting Conference was an informal body made up of officers of Jewish welfare funds in the larger cities for the purpose of joint discussions and budgetary hearing with national agencies. At the time of its formation it consisted of representatives of the 15 large Jewish Federations who were concerned with the developing competition for funds by national Jewish community relations agencies. This series includes miscellaneous materials from the mid-1960s.
