National Jewish Population Study/Correspondence, 1966
Scope and Contents
The CJFWF provides national and regional services to 218 associated Jewish community organizations in the United States and Canada, aiding in campaigns and interpretation, budgeting, planning for health and welfare, and cooperative action. LHW was president in 1965, but ill health limited his activities and cut short the time he spent in this position. The series includes correspondence, memoranda, minutes, financial papers, publicity material, news clippings, translations, statements, note, pamphlets, daily mail sheets, organizational materials, General Assembly resolutions and printed programs. The most important sections include materials while he was chair of the Overseas Committee and while he was President of the Council.
