Gulf War, undated, 1991
Scope and Contents
Between 1991 and 1997, the JHCNS produced several exhibits with the topic of Jewish war veterans, and this subseries contains information and photographs of veterans from the Revolution through the first Gulf War reused in those exhibits. The records related to the Jewish veterans exhibits consist primarily of research into local Jewish servicemen and women, primarily carried out by Arlene Lewis Kaufman, photographs and captions that were included in the exhibits, and exhibit publicity. The exhibit materials are subdivided by the major U.S. wars. There is also a folder about the North Shore Jewish War Veterans posts, including Posts 220, 656, and 31. An oversized folder contains additional photographs and information from the exhibit.
