Series I: Abraham Kamberg Papers, undated, 1917-1975
Scope and Content Note
This collection contains articles and book reviews written by Kamberg, as well as some correspondence and some photographs. The bulk of the collection consists of brochures, catalogs and announcements from the Kamberg art collection exhibits. Kamberg collected art and donated several pieces to the Springfield Museum of Fine Arts, and gave lectures on the artwork at openings. Many of his exhibits were at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. The collection also contains two scrapbooks, which hold newspaper clippings detailing various events in Kamberg’s personal and professional life, as well as his volunteer activities.
