Ladies Auxiliary Meeting Minutes, 1928-1944
Scope and Content Note
This collection contains a ledger with minutes of the Ladies' Auxiliary of Congregation Linath Hatzedek-Beth Israel, a synagogue membership ledger, and miscellaneous event flyers and invitations in Hebrew or Yiddish. The minutes ledger is in English (from 1929-1931) and Hebrew or Yiddish (1931-1944), and also contains a news clipping about the founding of the Ladies Auxiliary with names of officers.
A note about both ledgers: Both ledgers are seriously damaged. The membership ledger is missing both covers and the spine, and possibly pages. The ledger with minutes is fragile, and there is a fine red dust residue from the disintegration of the spine and covers. Both items are restricted for use.
