Scope and Contents
This series contains hundreds of slides and photographs documenting events, vacations and every day happenings in the Snider, Kane, Winer and Karelitz families. Oversized photographs include Stanley Snider’s Navy photograph (1945), Mary Ann Kane Snider on her wedding day (1954), Frances Winer Kane on her wedding day (1928), a professional portrait of Mary Ann Kane Snider, a photograph of Morris Winer and an assistant outside of his creamery on Salem Street in the North End of Boston, and a group photograph taken at a Karelitz Wedding (1930.) Folders containing slides are identified by a (s.) Please note that slides have been digitized and can be viewed online at archives.ajhsboston.org. User access is by permission only. Oversized photographs are in box 6. Photograph and slide folders are primarily labeled as the donor originally labeled them.
