Scope and Contents
The majority of this series contains correspondence regarding the transfer of JVAS funds to CJP. Correspondence includes accepting transfer of funds resolutions on March 5, 1973, letter to CJP stating that JVAS unable to continue on its own on June 25, 1979, and terms set forward regarding the transfer of JVAS funds to CJP. This series also contains donation acknowledgement letters and correspondence with The American Jewish Historical Society regarding donating JVAS material. A short historical background of JVAS can also be found in this series.
