This series contains papers pertaining to activities conducted under five Rabbis at Temple Shalom. These include correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, and newsletters. Of particular interest is the Rabbi Dov Pikelny folder which includes information on the Brotherhood, kindergarten at the temple, various speakers, and many other activities. There are letters and speeches reflecting social and racial issues (such as a speech by Harry Golden), urban development, law enforcement, and a photograph of Ethiopian Rabbi David Mathew Doré from Ethiopian Hebrew Congregation. There is a folder with information on the first female Rabbi hired on the North Shore, Rabbi Ilana Rosansky. There are also lists of the Rabbinate of Temple Shalom.
