Photographs, 1926-1980
Scope and Contents
This series contains records by and about the Jewish Federation of the North Shore’s activities. Half of the series is made up of photographs, many taken during events organized by the JFNS Women’s Division in the late 1990s and early 2000s. A few other photographs date from the 1920s into the 1960s. Also included is a manual provided to members of the JFNS Board of Directors in 2003 and related correspondence.
Additionally, this series contains a folder of periodicals and pamphlets published by JFNS, ranging in date from 1957 to 2007. Another folder of general correspondence and newspaper clippings has a group of papers related to the 2004 JFNS-organized effort to achieve a Guinness World Record for the most shofars blown in unison.
