 Series

Scope and Contents

This series is comprised of general information about the Winer family, including a published booklet on the Winer family history, an ‘In Memoriam’ pamphlet from Dorothy Winer’s funeral, Richard Winer’s baby book, and a list of descendants of Mordechi Mickleshanski. Other family items include a pamphlet from the 1969 New England Drama Festival, in which Dorothy Winer was the Swampscott High School drama director, a letter from the Marblehead Historical Society, and an envelope with notes about some of the collection’s photographs, most likely belonging to Richard Winer. This series also includes newspaper clippings about various family members (Max Winer, Richard Winer, Benjamin Winer, and Steve Winer) as well as Dorothy Winer’s checkbook for the Salem Hadassah. The general documents are arranged chronologically within each respective category.
