Series III: Financial Records, undated, 1927-1997
Scope and Contents
This series contains receipt books, ledgers, reports and statement of accounts for various branches of the Workmen's Circle, the District, and the Cemetery, Golden Ring Camp, Medical and Social Services, I.L Peretz School, Senior Citizens Club, and Workmen's Circle Home. Correspondence relating to financial records indicates that the branches did not keep the most accurate or up to date information. The District Workmen's Circle benefitted from the auspices of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies and submitted paperwork to their allocations committee annually.
