This series contains correspondence between members regarding numerous activities of the Board, membership, and the Brith Milah Board. It also includes activities and meeting minutes of the many committees that Board members were associated with, rabbi placements arranged by Massachusetts Board of Rabbis, resolutions and statements issued on a variety of religious topics, reports, and activities and programs that the Massachusetts Board of Rabbis participated in. Of note is the Political Advocacy folder which contains materials relating to foreign policy, U.S. relations with Israel, and the Middle East from 1974-1976, and mostly includes legislation and correspondence. Letters from Ted Kennedy, Timothy O’Neill Jr., John Moakley, Michael Harrington, Torbert MacDonald, President Gerald Ford, Father Robert Drinan, Hubert Humphrey, Walter Mondale and others.
