Subseries D: Golden Ring Camp, 1961-1968
Scope and Contents
This subseries contains the 1952 national curriculum for the I.L. Peretz Schools of the Workmen's Circle, which was taught in Yiddish with some functional Hebrew. Also included are a 1994 Guidelines and Syllabus for shules, adopted by the National Executive Board; a manual, and a curriculum guide for Passover developed by and for the Brookline school. The 1994 guidelines also identify three main components of its curriculum, including Yiddish, Jewish history and living, and Jewish literature.
