Scope and Content Note
This series contains correspondence, meeting minutes, subject files, and writings relating to Fox’s longtime criticism of Israeli actions against Palestine. Included are his numerous writings on the subject; subject files he compiled; correspondence with politicians, including Congressmen John Tierney and Seth Moulton; as well as his involvement in the Tikkun Leadership Committee and the New England Tikkun Community. Of note are a 1980 New York Times full-page ad titled “End Middle East Bloodshed,” which was signed by Fox; documents related the “Israel in Lebanon – Invasion or Self Defense” debate he organized in 1982; and materials related to the local controversy of a Marblehead church screening the documentary Occupation of the American Mind.
