Brookline/Israeli School, 1970s-1980s
Scope and Contents
This series primarily contains grant applications and program reports submitted to the Bureau of Jewish Education and Combined Jewish Philanthropies for funding from the Task Force on Supplementary Jewish Education. Correspondence and notes pertaining to these programs are also included in the files. In addition, some school files contain data reports on the number of students, courses available, and funding prior to CJP's grants. Schools include those associated with synagogues as well as independent Jewish private schools. Organization of these records remained in original order, beginning with the name of the town, in alphabetical order, followed by the name of the school. Restricted files contain personnel and salary information, and cannot be accessed without permission from the archivist.
