Scope and Contents
This subseries contains planning materials, correspondence, reports, and information on travelers, all related to trips APSJ staff members, members, and volunteers took to the former Soviet Union, particularly to Ukraine. Trip reports document the travelers’ visits to Adopt a Bubbe clients and coordinators, as well as meetings with medical care providers, rabbis, and other local leaders of the Jewish communities; give historical background on the communities they visited, and often include photographs of clients and the community.
