Numbered Files/Files 3-9, 1971-1972
Scope and Contents
This series contains the historical documents of the BJE from around its inception in 1917, including minutes, correspondence and the original constitution. CJP documents pertaining to BJE business, including grants, funding, and committees, are also in this series. Annual meeting information, Board and committee minutes and correspondence and financial records can also be located here.
Please note: the BJE had an early filing system called "numbered files" which include financial records, correspondence, and minutes, but each file is identified by number. The researcher will need to utilize the index cards to identify what each numbered file stands for and where in the collection it is located.
