Series II: Financial Records, 1949-1980
Scope and Contents
This series contains documents depicting the Chelsea-Revere Hebrew School’s financial activities. Maurice Band prepared the institution’s balance sheets, including the Statements of Income and Fund Deficiency. Finances are also described through memos correspondence, and statements noting individual and group donations, retirement funds, money willed to the school from community members, and scholarship allocations. Fundraising details for the 60th Anniversary Banquet held in 1955 feature prominently, including a small booklet detailing donation deposits.
