Series III: General, undated, 1953-2001

 Series

Scope and Contents

This series includes numerous papers that are not necessarily related to the events or infrastructure of Kehillath Israel but may have served some other purpose. Of particular note is an oral history done with David Hirson, most likely a member of Kehillath Israel, regarding his experience in the Yiddish theater. In addition there are numerous journals relating to Judaism, including Contact, The B.G. Rudolph Lectures in Judaic Studies from Syracuse University, and numerous scholarly pamphlets from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Programs and information about other area Synagogues also provide a comparison study.
