Scope and Contents
Boston Life documents events occurring in the Boston metropolitan area. Many articles document conventions coming to Boston, frequently held at the Statler Hotel, or parades and town fairs. Shapiro also wrote travel pieces, frequently dealing with Cape Cod, such a 1964 series, "A Summer on Cape Cod." Shapiro also wrote about different professions and various Boston development plans, such as Mayor Collins urging new development to address urban issues in 1970.
