This series contains information relating to the numerous statements issued by the Massachusetts Board of Rabbis in the early 1970s, including statements on the Jewish community's position on Israel, the Vietnam War and former President Richard Nixon, kashruth policies, funeral services, and intermarriage (mixed marriage.) Of particular interest is a strongly worded letter revoking the kosher license of a Framingham, Massachusetts restaurant.
