Scope and Contents
This series contains Romayne Goldberg’s scrapbook, which details her role as President of the Boston chapter of Hadassah between 1948-1951. The scrapbook was compiled by Mrs. Louis S. Harris on behalf of the chapter and presented to Romayne Goldberg on June 14, 1951. It includes newspaper clippings, signatures of organization members, programs from events and invitations. Although in fairly good condition, care should be taken with some of the loose leaves. Newspapers include larger clippings as well as editions of “New Palestine” and “The Jewish Weekly Times.”
