This organization was established in 1944 in order to formulate policy and coordinate the work of national and local Jewish agencies in the field of community relations in the United States. It was composed initially of four national organizations and 14 local community relations councils. LHW was President from 1960-1964. The series consists of correspondence, memoranda, reports, agendas, publicity material, case histories, news clippings, statements and miscellany.
