Scope and Contents From the Series: This series has the typescripts of and some original letters written by Herbert Gorfinkle, sent to various family members in Massachusetts. The letters sent to his father, Colonel Bernard L. Gorfinkle, are the most honest and detailed about Herbert's experiences during World War II.
