He was a popular speaker and a member of numerous organizations, and this engagement is reflected in newspaper clippings, political advertisements, invitations, programs, and correspondence, most of which are pasted into a scrapbook. Scope and Contents From the Series:

This series includes a manuscript with choral scales composed by Edward Bernard, as well as original compositions ("Quadruple Mirror Fugue for String Orchestras" 1-3 and "Septuple Mirror Fugue Sonata for String Orchestra in 5 Movements".' There is also an original manuscript and accompanying letter to Dr. Nathan Kaganoff entitled, "Varying Interval Choral Scales." In addition to the materials in box 1, there is an oversized folder with compositions titled "Septuple Mirror Fugue Sonata."
