Awards—Frank Waters Award, 1996

This subseries contains awards, correspondence, newsletters, audiovisual materials, programs, brochures, news clippings, photographs, and scrapbooks documenting Margolis’s tenure as Executive Director of the Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD). Included are various awards, including the Librarian of the Year awarded by the Colorado Library Association; numerous VHS tapes of videos produced by the Community Video Center of the Pikes Peak Library System; pamphlets for the Tolerance/Intolerance in the Pikes Peak Region program; correspondence; programs and VHS tapes on the Great Pikes Peak Cowboy Poetry Gathering and other programming the library offered; photographs; and newspaper clippings and programs about “The Secret Garden” bench, which was constructed and dedicated in Margolis's honor in 1997.
