This subseries includes correspondence, brochures, awards, newspaper clippings, photographs, and publications documenting Margolis’s tenure as President of the Boston Public Library (BPL). Included are correspondence and letters of support after his contract was not renewed, reports and programs on the library's 150th anniversary, news clippings related to the public dispute between Margolis and Menino regarding internet censorship at the library, programs and brochures chronicling various programs and events at the BPL, and strategic planning and other administrative documents.
