This collection contains mostly the personal photographs of Lillian Glickman. Also included is correspondence from friend Larry O’Brien, an autograph book from her years at the Cobbett School in Lynn, and a plaque presented to her from Shop & Stop.

Lillian was born on May 6, 1915 to Harry and Esther Glickman in Lynn, Massachusetts. Both Esther and Harry were Russian immigrants. She attended Cobbett School and Lynn English High, both in Lynn. She worked as a clerk for a number of years, including at Workingmen's Co-op Bakery and at the grocery store chain Stop & Shop, where she won the "Checker of the Year" award in 1965. She was active in many Jewish organizations, including the Jewish Welfare Board and Temple Beth Hillel Sisterhood, and was an avid traveler, particularly on cruise ships. Lillian died on July 10, 2003.
