Historical Note
The Jewish Family Service of the North Shore was founded by a group of Jewish women in the winter of 1897. The mission of the JFS of the North Shore is to serve families and individuals in need by improving their quality of life through the rendering of crisis and safety services, including community emergency fund, food programs, care for elders, and connecting individuals to the resources they need.
